Brisbane Soundwave

It seems that this years Soundwave Festival has run into all kinds of problems. First up with a number of big acts pulling out (although there has been some rather superb replacements announced!) and most recently news has come to light of the very tragic ticketing system that has left many punters asking, "where the hell are my tickets!?"
With the days ticking closer to its kick off in Brisbane on the 28th Feb, hundreds and hundreds of punters have been left wondering where their tickets are.
After a huge delivery delay for many punters a statement released on their website, states that most people who ordered physical tickets off the site should have them already, anyone who doesn't needs to contact charlie@kmwproductions.com.
Although the confusion has surfaced predominately for those punters who selected the 'e-ticket' delivery option during purchase. These tickets would have come thru in another email as an attachment - perfect for printing at home and bringing to the show. (please note: these tix actually work and are legit, if you didn't get the attachment, email the contact above)
The mess-up lies with the fact that an email sent days later from the Soundwave crew to all buyers (including those that only purchased e-tickets) stated that physical tickets would be sent to everyone. This of course was not entirely correct because e-ticket buyers were exempt from receiving these.
So kids what is the lesson we have all learnt? Never trust everything you read ;) and if you bought an e-ticket start checking your inbox not your letterbox.
