Sightseeing on our day off.....

Had a great day off on tour today. This has been a great tour so far in that we have had a good deal of time to see the country. Today we did a wine tasting tour in the Victoria region outside of Melbourne. This is also the area that was affected by the fires. Many of the wineries lost major portions of their grapes. They have something like 10 millimeters of rain in the last year! Can you imagine that? The wineries were still very nice and the landscape was quite lovely. This evening we went to an Ausi rules football game. Very cool! I am now a fan for sure. Its certainly not always like this on tour. In South America we would play, go eat and go to the hotel. By then it would be 2am and most mornings we left for the airport at 5am. So we slept whenever we could. After a few days of that we were beat. I'm happy this run has been better. Tomorrow it’s back to work. We play early at 3pm so it is predicted to be over 100 degrees at that point. Tomorrow we will be coming back here to the pool as soon as we finish. Adelaide is next stop.
